CBS Fantasy Football

My first fantasy football league I was ever invited to was CBS Sportline’s fantasy football.  Other fantasy football sites are slowly catching up but I do have to say CBS Sportsline has had this right for a long time.  Excellently designed from draft day all the way to game day, CBS Sportsline has set the example for other fantasy football sites to follow which is ironic to me as CBS is my least favorite television station to watch pre-game or a game itself from.  CBS Sportsline in my opinion has the top of the line live scoring, pre-game analysis game center, a great interface to view, start, and bench your players, and many more features.  CBS Sportsline makes it extremely easy for you and 11 others anywhere in the country to draft your teams online and do battle for the year.

The only downside:  CBS Sportsline does not offer a free fantasy football membership.  My personal league costs me $150.00 a year for my team however every week prizes are given out and even a bad team should regain at least $50.00 of their money.  A playoff team usually at least double that, and a high scoring great team and/or champion will at least break even if not garner a big profit from winning the final prize.  The exact setup is up to the commissioner but I would expect most leagues are able to be set up at a smaller scale.  Unless you are really good at fantasy football I wouldn’t expect to break even, think of it more as a bonus for a great year if you do have a good season.  In the meantime though take full advantage of this website as in almost every aspect of fantasy football they are #1.
