Fantasy Football Atlanta Falcons

Michael Vick, Alge Crumpler, Warrick Dunn, Dante Hall, Demorrio Williams.  As if things couldn’t get any worse after the Vick/dogfighting scandal, it looks like the Falcons have decided to hit rock bottom not in order to recover faster.  I always hate to say a year is a rebuilding year in the NFL as we have seen some pretty amazing things in the NFL thanks to its great parity.  However, this is a rebuilding year for the Atlanta Falcons.  The only glimmer of hope for Atlanta is their high first round draft pick where it looks like there will be a ton of talent available for them.

Despite the many holes the Falcons have, it is highly expected they will not trade the pick away and draft the highly rated quarterback Matt Ryan out of Boston College.  Matty Ice as his teammates call him is the best quarterback talent in the draft and might eae peoples memories of their last highly rated quarterback they drafted now leading the Leavenworth Felons onto the field for the time being.  I also would not be surprised at all the see the Falcons skip on Ryan and pick up Darren McFadden of Arkansas, the best running back in the draft who some compare to Adrian Peterson.  Whatever the case, McFadden or Matty Ice will be one thing the Falcons fans can be proud about as they will struggle again this year (and perhaps get another very high draft pick next year).
