Remembering the Dick Jauron years back in Chicago, I genuinely feel bad for Buffalo Bills fans during his tenor. He’s a nice guy and a great defensive coach but in my opinionhe is not head coach material. The Bills offense was mediocre at best last year as rookie back Marshawn Lynch pretty much carried the offense. It looks like Trent Edwards will be the quarterback to start the year and the Bills have added a nice weapon from the draft in the name of James Hardy. However this Indiana receiver already has run into some personal issues as it is reported a few weeks ago Hardy pulled a gun on his own father during an argument. While no charges have been filed it looks like Hardy might be someone we need to watch for on and off the field.
The Bills also shored up at corner with first round pick Leodis McKelvin, who some saw as the best cornerback in this draft. This excellent lockdown cover corner should only improve the Bills tough defense and will hopefully give the Bills more opportunities to stay in and win games. Unfortunately unless Edwards learns fast on the job and turns out to be a greater leader than expected, I see the Bills repeating their 7-9 record of last season.
