Muhsin Muhammed is back in Carolina after having enough of the Rex Grossman experiment in Chicago with the Bears. I can’t wait to see this talented possession receiver reunited with the extremely talented and playmaking Steve Smith. Yes Muhsin is a little older, but I think these two will make a nice pair again. As if that wasn’t enough the Panthers have also figned DJ Hackett to help out definitely makingthem much deeper at wideout. As long as Jake Delhomme stays healthy (he seems to be 100% after his elbow surgey of last year) this trio can do a lot of damage on the field and on the fantasy field.
Another promising development for Panthers fans is that the Panthers have 10 draft picks in the upcoming NFL Draft. They do have some holes at both offensive and defensive line, running back, and safety. Most likely the Panthers will stay at #13 and just take the best player available at that slot rather than trading up for that special player. With so many picks its hard not to think if the Panthers stay healthy they’ll be in the playoffs by the end of the season. The Panthers ended up having a very good draft however in order to obtain Otah they had to trade their first round pick of 2009.
