Fantasy Football Green Bay Packers

I was shocked when I heard the news Brett Favre was not returning.  The Packers really seemed like they were coming together and got pretty close to the Super Bowl last season.  I expected him to return, I expected Ryan Grant to become the next Ahman Green, and I expected to Pack to again challenge the Cowboys for the best team in the NFC.  Its funny when you plug in Aaron Rodgers for Brett Favre, the Packers lose a lot of that luster that they just had.  In his very limited play he did well, but I think he will have a tough year.  I also think this hurts the fantasy value of running back Ryan Grant and receivers Donald Driver and Greg Jennings.  Perhaps this could be a plus to your draft if people leave these good players around late in the draft as the Packers second half of the season is much easier than the first and perhaps Rodgers has some nice later games, but it will be a big risk now that Favre is gone.
