Many draft experts are saying the Chiefs had the best NFL draft of any team this year. They got great value getting Glenn Dorsey with the 5th overall. 2 Months ago Dorsey was easily the #1 ranked player in this draft. As a few teams worried about his knee and the Dolphins signed Jake Long, Dorsey fell to five at a great value. Partially due to trading DE Jared Long, the Chiefs had a lot of picks in this year’s draft, but made it worth it as they also attained the best Guard in the draft Brandon Albert and a good Corner Brandon Flowers.
While I don’t see the Chiefs being extremely successful this upcoming season, I see them moving in the right direction which should help Larry Johnson have a more normal season than he did last year which keeps his fantasy value very high. If you become the proud owner of LJ it might be a good idea to pick up his back up Kolby Smith with a later pick.
