The last quarter of last season and of course, the unexpected loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl, have left many owners of Patriots players with some question marks. I personally own Randy Moss in a keeper league and got him as a steal for my third wide receiver. After seeing Moss go from superstar and unstoppable player in the beginning of the season, but as the weather worsened in New England, it seemed like it took Moss and the Patriots offense off their game. Ironically, that famous New England weather which used to give the Pats the advantage I think really hurt them late in the season as some games Moss was almost non-existent. While I’m definitely protecting Moss I do have many reservations about it and will have a decent back up lingering just in case Randy Moss becomes the Randy Moss he was with the Raiders.
If I were an owner of Brady I would not worry too much as he seems to do very well even when Moss is not, but I wouldn’t be expecting those huge numbers again, its possible, but I doubt he matches the great numbers he put up last year.
