Fantasy Football New York Giants

The 36 year old Michael Strahan continues to leave the Giants in the dark whether he will be retiring or coming back for another year.  Whether he returns or not is imnportant as the Giants have the 31st pick in the first round (due to Spygate that Pats lost their natural first round pick).  The good news, besides the Strahan question, most of their major players are returning next year as they will try to stun and surprise everyone again against all odds.

Eli Manning will try to lead them back, one would think with much more confidence than he seemed to have early in the season last year.  Brandon Jacobs will also have high value as he passed the test last season whether he could be a viable back without Tiki Barber back there with him.  Jeremy Shockey is coming off his season ending injury but should be ready by the start of the season, but the Giants also have signed his back up Kevin Boss who performed very well after Shockey went down.  The receiver corps continue to hinge heavily on Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer as they aren’t very deep past that.  I would not be surprised for the Giants to grab a receiver in the first few rounds if they get some good value.
