Despite me not being an Oakland Raiders fan, I am even a little excited about watching Raiders games this year. They definitely got the most exciting running back in the entire draft in Darren McFadden. They also have added lockdown corner and playmaker DeAngelo Hall on the defensive side of the ball not to mention a decent amount of other upgrades through trades and free agency. While I am not quite ready to project a winning season for this evolving team, I do predict some interesting games this year as we see McFadden try to duplicate Adrian Peterson’s rookie success. I doubt it happens as the Vikings offensive line deserves a lot of credit for Peterson’s success, but I think we see some nice moves from this rookie as the Raiders inch closer to an 8-8 season. We also will get a good look at franchise quarterback JaMarcus Russell this year. He’s not my favorite but I have been wrong in the past so we’ll have to see how he progresses this year.
