Despite a Jekyll & Hyde year from back Steven Jackson he will still remain very high on many people’s draft boards. Jackson had a bad start to last season, starting out very slow before a groin injury. He did however recover strongly (probably too late in the season to help your fantasy team) to break 1,000 rushing yards and keep his fantasy value high. My personal preference for a player like this is to let someone else take him but depending what slot you’re drafting from it might be impossible to pass him up as he should rebound nicely in 2008 (which also happens to be a contract year).
Besides Jackson, Torry Holt is the only player on this team who will definitely provide good fantasy points. I’d like to put Bulger in this group , but his 70 QB rating befor ehis injury leaves me with a ton of question marks on him. He sunk one of my fantasy teams pretty early last season which further makes me believe if I can’t get a Peyton Manning or Brady its best to wait on quarterback as there’s not a huge difference after the top tier QB’s are gone. I do think the Rams had a very consistent draft and should be on the way up this year.
