Sunday Night Wrap Up Week 15

First, I want to congratulate the Miami Dolphins. I really was beginning to think winning one might be impossible for that team. But Brian Billick and that bipolar Ravens D left the door wide open and Lemon and company took advantage. Its a sad story but maybe they can turn it around next year with their early draft pick. I also have to give kudos to the Patriots for clinching home field, and the Colts/Cowboys/Packers for clinching a first round bye although all 4 of those teams did not play their best. I really think those playoff teams have trouble this time of year keeping with the intensity of the other teams. For instance, for Oakland, almost beating the Colts was their Superbowl.

As for the rest of the league it seems this time of year its just as important to check out the weather channel as it is EPSN for last minute notes to pregame. Inclement weather hurt a lot of fantasy performances. I know personally all but one of my teams are knocked out and I need a nice game from Chester Taylor to get my final team that’s still alive to the Fantasy Football Championship. Hopefully your teams fared better today (probably a good day to start the Browns Defense).

Also, although I went 1-2 this week and I can’t really blame the weather on that. But my Monday Night Football Prediction is Vikings 21, Bears 13 although I’m not confident enough to run to Vegas on this game. You have Orton at quarterback who’s a wild card. I personally think Orton is better than Grossman but we’ll see tomorrow night if he’s improved in all the time he’s had to sit on the bench. If you remember Orton led the Bears to the playoffs a few years back only to be benched when Grossman got healthy and Steve Smith and the Panthers trounced the Bears. It should be a good game and hopefully Chester Taylor gets 75 yards and 2 scores.
