Yahoo has a very interesting system for fantasy football. Essentially Yahoo has made their system extremely user friendly making it probably one of the easiest fantasy football programs to use that I belong too. You don’t have to worry about complicated scoring systems or figuring out what positions are allowed for your flex position. Yahoo has done an extremely efficient job of streamlining the whole process to make it as practical as you need as it seems all of us are getting busier and busier in our day to day lives. While this simplified system may be perfect for someone new to fantasy football or for the football fanatic who has little free time, I also wondered what if I am a fanatic who wants a more complicated system?
The good news is that Yahoo has something designed just for you called Yahoo Fantasy Plus. Fantasy Football Plus basically builds off the core of Yahoo Fantasy Football but has added many features to keep the fanatics happy. Yahoo allows you to fully customize your league from the scoring system to the basic rules of the league. Yahoo allows you to invite your friends to this league and is even adding a new feature called drag and drop, meaning setting your starting lineup will be even easier and faster than before. This will come in handy when you hear about that mysterious injury just minutes before game time and you need to bench someone before the lineups lock up on you. Plus will cost you about $25.00 for one team or $125 for the league, but it does however give you advanced commissioner controls, special customer service, preferred draft time, league prizes, and also access to the stat tracker, draft kit, and scouting report. Not a bad deal at all especially if you have a group of friends ready to go in with you.
So whether you’re a casual fan or a fire breathing football fanatic you might want to give Yahoo Fantasy Football a good look next season. Its amazing the progress they have made in a short time and I’m genuinely looking forward to all the new features they have added for this upcoming season.
